How do I know if I need therapy?
Everyone’s mental health and life experiences are unique. However, if you or your teen are struggling with significant changes in behavior, emotions, or social interactions, therapy may be worth considering. Some signs that therapy may be beneficial include persistent feelings of sadness or anxiety, difficulty coping with stress or trauma, difficulty sleeping, changes in appetite, significant changes in academic or work performance, social withdrawal or isolation, or engaging in self-destructive behaviors. Seeking therapy can be an incredibly helpful tool for improving your mental health and overall well-being.
What age of clients do you work with?
Shuronda specializes with adults and adolescents dealing with trauma, relationship conflicts, social and communication challenges, and grief. Counseling can also be beneficial to individuals and couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their lives.
Can you tell me more about trauma and PTSD?
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Do you offer in person or online therapy?
Wholly Restored Counseling is currently licensed to provide services for residents of Texas and offers both online and in-person therapy. Online sessions are held from the safety of your own home at a time that is convenient for you through our easy scheduling platform. For your in-person sessions, our office is conveniently located in McKinney off Custer Road at Stonebridge Drive.

How do I set up an appointment?
To set up an appointment, contact us directly. You will be contacted within 1-2 business days to set up an appointment. We will need your basic information to schedule your initial intake session. Payment for each session is required in full prior to each session when using private pay.
Can I cancel my appointment?
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapist’s day that another client could have filled. As such, we require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes to your appointment.
Clients who provide less than 24 hours’ notice or miss their appointment will be charged the full session rate.
Please call or text me to cancel or reschedule appointments: (469) 476-0120.
Do you accept insurance?
Wholly Restored Counseling is considered an out-of-network provider. Clients have the option to pay for services through self-pay (credit, debit, HSA, FSA). A superbill can be provided to you for out-of-network reimbursement from your health insurance provider. Reimbursement is not guaranteed.
How much do sessions cost without insurance?
Each session has a fixed rate within the range of $125-$200 per session. Session duration is 45-90 minutes. Length of treatment is to be determined by you and your counselor.
Do you provide a Good Faith Estimate?
- You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
- Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
- You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
